coloring shirts/eyes/etc!

alright so open up yo imageeeee to start. (black and white usually looks best).
now, take your polygonal lasso tool (click)
and sketch the part you want colored. EXAMPLE

now, whether you want the part to be just one color or a gradient, get your brush or gradient ready to use! (i will be using a gradient)
so now you are readdddy! just brush or put your gradient over the part, just like this.

finallyyyy, go to your layers pallette. (where it shows the layers and such). there should be a box that says "normal". well, click the little arrow, and go down to "color". example
then walah! your finished. (:

if you see that you made mistakes, then just take your history brush and go over them! i hope this helped, guys! (here's my final result!)
